Bret and Jacqueline were married on July 4th 1980. They made the decision before having their first child to embrace the biblical model of Bret providing for the family and Jacqueline keeping the home. They have collaborated on every important project of their marriage of 43 years, none of which could have happened without the joint efforts of both partners, and the benevolent providence of God Almighty.
1980s
Bret & Jacqueline founded and operated Mountain View Christian School in Molena, GA. Their purpose was to provide conservative Christian education at an affordable cost.
Jacqueline got pregnant, and Bret became high school supervisor at Douglasville Christian Academy in Douglasville, GA.
1990s
Bret & Jacqueline moved to Puerto Rico in 1990. While there, they founded a conservative education organization called The Homeschool Advantage.

Bret & Jacqueline wrote and published a children’s music book called “Sing Thru the Bible.” Click image below.
Bret & Jacqueline hosted Puerto Rico’s first homeschool conference at the Wesleyan Community Church, where Bret was the associate pastor and music director. The keynote speaker was Gregg Harris’ son Josh Harris.
Bret & Jacqueline produced and hosted Puerto Rico’s first homeschool radio talk show, the Homeschool Advantage Radio Show. Topics included conservative education and culture, with guest appearances of people like Kris Klicka of the Homeschool Legal Defense Association. Upon returning to Georgia in 1997, they continued to produce and host the television show. 2000s
Bret & Jacqueline organized and hosted the Bold Christian Living conference with Jonathan Lindvall at the First Assemblies of God Church in Griffin, GA.

Bret & Jacqueline organized and hosted the Georgia Christian Film Festival for two years. This encouraged young conservative homeschoolers to produce independent Christian films. Click on image below to hear ad on WVFJ Christian Radio.
Bret & Jacqueline assisted with Ray McBerry's campaign for Governor of the state of Georgia, creating a series of video lessons on reducing Federal Government. Click on the image below to watch an excerpt.
Bret & Jacqueline produced Captain Bret's Christian Movie show, a weekly program which ran on the Faith Television Network and Sky Angel. The series lasted 18 months. We featured special guests, independent films, and conservative commentary. Selected excerpts and episodes can be found on our YouTube channel at www.YouTube.com/c/CaptainBret.
Bret & Jacqueline adopted 8 special needs children from around the world, and with 4 birth children raised 12 children. While homeschooling the children, they created an entire K-12 computerized homeschool curriculum, featuring biblical and conservative values, called TheDigitalTutor. 2010s
Bret & Jacqueline worked with Republican candidate Tim Echols and Mark Montini to develop TheDigitalTutor course "Campaign University." We helped Tim win his campaign for Georgia Public Service Commissioner, and he continues to serve in that office today. Click the image below to watch a short segment of TheDigitalTutor course.
For many years, Bret & Jacqueline taught a biblical plan for living that focused on the Season's of Life. In this season they began to shift focus to ministry leadership and becoming a godly elder. This included prison ministry, working with the poor and homeless, and supernatural ministry training.




2020s
A major music project Bret & Jacqueline are working on now is to create a 6 song series to sing The Lord's Prayer. The first five songs are complete. Click the image below to visit the playlist.
Bret & Jacqueline have been preparing together for service in Project 2025.




After many years of progressive heart failure, Bret received a heart transplant on Thanksgiving of 2022. Subsequently, Bret & Jacqueline have been working to help people in the areas of heart health and family alienation. They are ready now to enter a season of civic service.
